As we are nearing end of the year, I would like to start sharing some of the best movies/series/videos I watched and the books I read this year. Some of these might be already known to you, yet I hope my perspectives add value to the way you appreciate content.

I did not actually want to wait presenting these in a podcast or blog post. Because I end up not doing things when I aim for such perfection. So I presented these initially as my WhatsApp status. Yet, for the sake of not losing information, I am recording them in my blog also as and when I find time.

What follows is the hyperlinked list of content I shared, recorded in individual blog posts:

  1. What makes Sarpatta Parambarai stand out from rest of the sport movies?
  2. Pettai' by Tamilprabha
  3. Talking to my daughter about economy: A brief history of capitalism’ by Yanis Varoufakis — Introduction and Chapter-1 | Chapter-2 | Chapter-3 | Chapter-4 | Chapter-5 | Chapter-6 | Chapter-7 | Chapter-8
  4. Authors I read for the first time in 2021
  5. Topics that The Great Indian Kitchen movie brings to the table for discussion
